I investigated this further today, and I'd suggest it should be put on hold
for a couple of days. The reason is that
MultiTouchTrackballManipulator::handleMultiTouchDrag handles the events
inconsistently between trunk and 3.2, and I think both are wrong.

The only natural thing to do is to let the touch-points be in real window
coordinates, but then the points are normalized wrongly in
handleMultiTouchDrag (in trunk), as it normalizes it wrongly (in my view).
I will submit a holistic patch later this week (or next) that handles this
so you can see what my thoughts are.
