That's exactly what happens when the mailing list is recreated by
cut-and-paste the emails from the old one to the new one ( in a
different server, subdomain, etc...) it is perfectly normal to have an
autogenerated password.

Also those that would rather receive digest mail than receive each
mail should do what LiCU has done, exactly the same way. Sorry very
much for the inconvenience.

The archive of old mails will be restored in the next hours, thanks
Don that he did backups of everything.
