That's quite an old video card. Even if you get things running, I  
doubt it will run very fast. Much better cards can be gotten now for  
about 100$ CAN, you don't even need a Quadro as any consumer card will  
be much more capable and give you a better experience.

That being said, it should support pbuffers, so I'd look at possible  
driver issues. Maybe try to update the driver to the latest  
nVidia-provided one. If not, try setting OSG_NOTIFY_LEVEL=DEBUG, which  
should make osgviewer print out what OpenGL version and extensions  
your current driver supports. That might help find the problem.
