AFAIK, apps like Fraps hook into the OpenGL driver (on Windows) and
interpret the calls to make the video, so it's not actual "screen
grabbing" and it isn't prone to other windows appearing on top of what
you wanted in the video...
But I agree, if there were a built-in way of doing this with OSG, it
would be great, and hopefully we'd have more control over the app's
performance, whereas apps like Fraps that hook into the OpenGL driver
introduce a framerate hit that you have no control over...
