Yes, we'll test a lot more as soon as we get finished incorporating latest OSG into our build environment. I'd like another developer release with the GLExtensions change made, but at the moment I'm using 2.1.3 and making that change myself.
We definitely would prefer 2.2 to have a good round of testing. thanks andy -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Robert Osfield Sent: Wednesday, August 01, 2007 3:51 PM To: osg users Subject: [osg-users] OpenSceneGraph-2.2 most sensibly kept till afterSiggraph? Hi All, I was hoping that we could get 2.2 out this week, but alas I've been busy with other work, and fixes to 2.1.x, it seems the community are busy with other tasks too, so the chances of get convergence to stable release this week are vanishingly small. It pretty easy for me to make a tag of 2.2, but it would hardly be worthy of a stable release with much more testing. I'd suggest letting the 2.1.x dev release mature for a couple more weeks and then go for a 2.2 for mid August. Thoughts, reactions?
