There are basic docs on osgdem on the OSG wiki which are a bit out of date, but still useful: http://www.openscenegraph.org/projects/osg/wiki/Support/UserGuides/osgdem VPB is still under going heavy development, once this is further on I'll be put more docs online about all the new functionality.
