Just curious, since there are 3rdParty binaries for 7.1, why don't you
use those?
In my experience, mixing libraries compiled with a different version
of VC++ than your main program causes unpredictable behaviour - not an
error per se, just random crashes and things like that. So in this
case, if I were you, I'd just count myself lucky that I got an error
at all, and download the binaries for 7.1 and be done with it. :-)
