Dear all,

in my application I have to model a cloth that has two regions with different properties (stiffness and bending parameters). Since we cannot specify this when creating a cloth, I tried to create two different cloths and tried to join them. From the several options for attachments of cloths, I use the attachVertexToShape function.
Are you sure you are on the right mailing list? Seems more like an Ogre-related question :)

One of the cloths is made by cutting a portion of the other cloth, so they will share the joining vertices. I created a small sphere in every vertex and I attached the corresponding vertices from both cloths to the same sphere, and so on... As you can see in the picture, it works quite well, both cloths move together, but there is a problem with the stiffness/bending properties on the closest vertices. Both cloths maintain their different properties but next to the frontier they behave completely wrong... Do you have any idea of why is this happening? any solution?

On the other hand, any clue of doing the same cloth joining with another strategy?

thanks in advance!!

Jaime Garcia.
