Unless you need the certified drivers and some Quadro-only features (stereo output, genlock, etc.) there is not a lot of benefit in spending the money. For the price of one Quadro you can get two, sometimes even three top of the line GeForces that will outperform the Quadro hands down because they usually have a never chipset. The drivers are not really different - the same set of drivers is used for both GeForce and Quadros (the GPU cores are the same, except that GeForce has some things turned off), of course the certifications are only for Quadros.
