I haven't personally fly fished since I was a teen ager, but when I
walk/cycle/run along the local river paths there are often fly fisherman out
trying to catch brown trouts and salmon.  The local lochs are known of trout
fishing.  I guess the Trossachs where I live would be considered a a fly
fisherman's paradise :-)

yes it does all the loading itself.  It does what you question looked like
it was asking for.

Perhaps the Registry::ReadFileCallback is what you are looking for.  This
allows you to intercept all loads.
