You need to subscribe to the osg-users mailing list if you want to post, or receive posts via email. Subscribing to the forum only provides you with the ability to post to the forum, it doen't confer any ability to post or receive emails from the mailing list. The way that the forum.openescenegraph.org works is that it entirely separate from the Mailman server that provides the osg-users mailing lists, but it is subscribed to it so it gets posts from the mailing list and post these automatically on the forum, and posts to the forum it posts automatically to the osg-users mailing lists. This enables to user either the forum or email to participate in the same community discussions.
