You might want to ask them what they changed to cause an cause problems with an SDK that has worked for many years across many GLX implementations and drivers without problems. The thing that has changed here is the driver, not the OSG. FYI, over the last two days I've been trying out Kubuntu 10.4 on an ATI, NVidia and Intel graphics with success and no visual creation problems at all. I haven't seen anything to suggest that the OSG is doing anything wrong in GLX context creation. If Mesa have moved the goal posts then they should at least know what they've changed and the new scheme that you have to use to handle these changes. On the OSG side the graphics context creation is done in src/osgViewer/GraphicsWindowGLX.cpp, you could have a tinker in their, but it's not a case of an OSG bug fix that will be required, but handling some new restrictions in usage thrown at us by Mesa for certain Mesa versions/driver combinations. Or perhaps they will just fix things at their end as... it's the driver that has broke your app. Robert. _______________________________________________ osg-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openscenegraph.org/listinfo.cgi/osg-users-openscenegraph.org
