osgEarth Version 2.1 is here!
Thanks to everyone in the community that contributed to this latest release.

osgEarth is a run-time terrain rendering toolkit for OSG.

This version includes loads of new functionality, including:

 * Enhanced support for rendering vector data (features and symbology)
 * Annotation, measurement, and feature editing tools
 * Upgrades to the 2D Controls library
 * Performance improvements to the terrain engine

What's next? We have our sights set on osgEarth 3.0, which will feature a
new-and-improved terrain engine, new powerful vector-feature and annotation
tools, a new caching architecture, and more. There *might* be one more 2.x
release before then but we will have to play that by ear. Stay tuned.
