Folks, osgEarth Version 2.1 is here! Thanks to everyone in the community that contributed to this latest release.
osgEarth is a run-time terrain rendering toolkit for OSG. http://osgearth.org This version includes loads of new functionality, including: * Enhanced support for rendering vector data (features and symbology) * Annotation, measurement, and feature editing tools * Upgrades to the 2D Controls library * Performance improvements to the terrain engine Release notes are here: http://www.osgearth.org/wiki/ReleaseNotes21 The GitHub tag (osgearth_2.1_T2011-08-31) and tarballs are here: http://github.com/gwaldron/osgearth/tree/osgearth_2.1_T2011-08-31 What's next? We have our sights set on osgEarth 3.0, which will feature a new-and-improved terrain engine, new powerful vector-feature and annotation tools, a new caching architecture, and more.
