Hi,

Once upon a time, I think this was mentioned but it has been several years ago
and I do not know if an actual resolution came out of it, so I thought I'd ask.
Does anybody know the source of this error...and more importantly how to
resolve it?

I am trying to compile and install OSG using the instructions found at the
GettingStarted page on the OSG site.

I am trying to execute the following commands:
cd OpenSceneGraph
./configure
make
sudo make install

However, on the make command, the process is halted and I get an error message
like the following:
/home/jeramboquai/OpenSceneGraph/src/osgPlugins/ffmpeg/FFmpegDecoderAudio.cpp:
In member function ‘size_t osgFFmpeg::FFmpegDecoderAudio::decodeFrame(void*,
size_t)’:
/home/jeramboquai/OpenSceneGraph/src/osgPlugins/ffmpeg/FFmpegDecoderAudio.cpp:361:48:
error: ‘INT64_C’ was not declared in this scope
make[2]: ***
[src/osgPlugins/ffmpeg/CMakeFiles/osgdb_ffmpeg.dir/FFmpegDecoderAudio.o] Error 1
make[1]: *** [src/osgPlugins/ffmpeg/CMakeFiles/osgdb_ffmpeg.dir/all] Error 2
make: *** [all] Error 2

That is the end of the output. Does anybody know how to resolve this error
about INT64_C not being declared? I tried the recommendation of typing
"CXXFLAGS=-D__STDC_CONSTANT_MACROS ./configure" before make but that did not
solve the problem. I'd really appreciate anyone's help.

Thank you!

Cheers,
Jeremy
