Hello Alejandro and Eric,

Oops, posted the agenda before reading Eric's email.

I use a Macintosh but do not plan on installing OSG.

In the past, if a presenter was going to demo their OSG application, they
brought their own laptop with OSG installed. Tassilo indicates that their
presentation will be on a laptop with OSG installed.

So, if you run your demo, we just swap the cable to the projector from my
laptop or Luis's laptop and you show the MKV videos and execute your demo
and present your slides. But your comment on traveling light may indicate
that you would not have a laptop and I assume that it is a windows/linux
front end which can't run on a Macintosh [Mac's like quicktime and WMV
files]. I may also have Flip-for_mac installed. I'll check. But they can
probably work on Luis's machine.

Eric: Yes, since there is a little extra time after the BOF we can fit you
in and still have the panel. Also note my comment on ESRI recruiters in the
agenda posting.

Alejandro, contact Eric Sokolowsky [[email protected]] or Tassilo Glander
[[email protected]] to see if they can host your demo.

I can generally display PowerPoint/PDF slides on my mac.

Hi John:

Sorry if I missed something. Just a couple of questions:

1- Are we will be able to run our demo programs?
2- In case that's so, in which platform and which version of OSG?

For the presentation, I assume PDF files and mkv videos works fine, right?

I know most of you will bring your own laptops, but I like to travel light.

Best regards,
