Hi Peter, Sorry for the delay. I'm still struggling on some business so not submit the new serializer version-control code. But as far as I know, there is no UPDATE_TO_USER_VERSION in any developer/stable version of OSG. It only exists in my submission, which needs to be improved so not merged.
Thus I think maybe you have applied this submission in your OSG directory before, and then overwrite it with the new 3.1.5 release? I will finish my present work as soon as possible and submit to the OSG core again.
