Hi Robert,

I'd suggest we wait until next week.
Right now I'm really busy doing other stuff, so due to limited time I'll be able to build and test not before the weekend.

Personally I really looking forward to have the 3.2 stable.
Thank you so much for your efforts winding up all those pending submissions.

cheers
Sebastian
Hi All,

I have just tagged OpenSceneGraph-3.2-rc4, jump release candidate 4. I actually made rc2 this morning, but spotted a mistake in svn source, then fixed it, made a rc3, but then got a couple of submissions/issue reports that required a few minor fixes through the day. This is all now wrapped in rc4.

Source code wise I now feel we should be very very close to final 3.2 stable release. I haven't heard of any major issues yet, this no doubt is an indication that much of the community is on holiday, at Siggraph or hasn't quite grasped how imminent the final 3.2 release is... Or could be that it's the most solid release EVER! :-)

I am now starting to look at docs/press releases and will work on these tomorrow morning. Some of this work is on the website, some in .txt files in the core OSG. Once this work is done I'll be ready to flip the switch and tag 3.2.0, perhaps even as soon as tomorrow evening UK time.

So please get testing for one more day, report back success or failure on your platform of interest. If it happens that once 3.2.0 goes out and you then spot a problem we can always make a 3.2.1 patch release in August - this typically happens as I'm afraid all too many users ignore our requests for testing, and only test once it actually goes gold.... Don't let yourself become one of these party poopers, help out with testing now :-)

Thanks for your efforts,
Robert.
