This just came in:

It is an interesting idea, basically saves the drawing calls when doing
multi-view rendering, such as for stereo. All the view-dependent
calculations are done in the shader instead. Lets just hope that this will
be supported soon and that Nvidia/AMD do not lock the support only for
their Quadro/FirePro cards.
