I have OSG compiled and installed on Fedora Core 5, and correctly set
up the LD_LIBRARY_PATH. However, when I ran any executables (e.g.
osgviewer or other examples), I keep getting Segmentation Fault error
msg. Has anyone else had such a problem? What may occur behind the
scene? I cannot figure it out.
The most common cause is having old version of the OSG already somewhere on your system such as the binaries and libs don't match. Next on the list would be the OpenGL drivers. Beyond this you'll need to open up a debugger and find out where is seg faulted.
