Well, ok, everyone went back to Andy's question, but my IOD/IPD problem was on a CRT with crystal eyes - which I forgot to mention 8-) I will try Paul's suggestion, but the general problem I was addressing was the fact that DisplaySettings::setEyeSeparation() doesn't seem to do what Andy & I expected - ie the separation seems larger than it should. So I think he & I were searching for what we may have been misinterpreting or misconfiguring.. quick aside: for hmds, I generally don't use "stereo" modes, but do just what Andy did - the rotation is usually needed when displays are 'cantered' inward (like some Kaiser hmds) for partial overlap. thanks for all those replies! ml On Jun 8, 2006, at 6:56 AM, Robert Osfield wrote:
