Hi Werner,

This is really down to the requirements of the your app, but in
general if I write real-time apps which constantly render frames, so
an update is never more than 1/60th a frame away. For interactive
apps the cost of rendering a frame is typically very small so here its
just fine to render the whole frame too.

Hello again.

In my application, I have a 2D map (HUD display) in one of the corners of
the view. This shows the area I am in from a "top-down" view. The question
is how should I update the "arrow" that shows where I am in the world and
in what direction I am facing. That is, should I use an update/render
callback on the arrow/map?

Regards, Werner Lindgård.
