We are working with OsgNV with osg 9.9 and want to move to OSG 1.0. Does OsgNV works with osg 1.0. If yes, which version ?
It may work, you'll need to try it an see :-)
We are setting different values to shader parameters for different parts of the tree. For example we are coloring differently the engine part of a vehicle than the rest of the body. We are doing that by using the Pblock mechanism. We also connect the parameter to a variable in memory using callbacks. Will all this be supported using OsgNV with osg 1.0 ?
I'm afraid Marco Jez is best placed to answer this, but he's extremely extremly busy with work deadlines so may not be able to provide you with timely answers.
Do we need to move to GLSL ? If yes is all this possible in GLSL ?
The core OSG now fully supports GLSL, include uniforms in 1.1, and uniform arrays (in the case of the CVS and upcomming 1.1 version). It may well be that everything you want to do is now supported in the core OSG so osgNV may not be required.
