The osgTerrain module builds in its paged database with a
ClusterCullingCallback to do just this. Have a look at the source
code.

Hello again,

What is the best way to make an osg::Geode drawn last so that it is always
visible on one side. I want to put little imagery over the globe at the
surface without fighting the geometry of the globe for visibility, but when
it's on the dark side I don't want to see it. Your time and thoughts are
greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
John
