I'm not keen on bugzilla either, but I do use a bug tracker and find it useful -- for
bugs that aren't going to be addressed immediately for some reason.
Usually we just fix our bugs right when they're found, but if for some reason
architecture or other limitations prevent it from being fixed, we use the bugtracker to
log it so it doesn't get lost. Then, in the future, if circumstances permit us to deal
with it, we know it's still there.
We use Mantis (open source), which I think is about 1 million times more friendly and
usable than Bugzilla.
