I don't know the reason but I've a freeze, about 4-5 seconds, in start up of osgviewer and every time DBPager try to load a subsequent file in a hierarchy.

This method should only be called at startup, and shouldn't ever need to be called once the apps running so I wouldn't expect any performance penalty. In what way is the performance impacted?
