I have updated my CVS and indeed - the problem is gone! Thanks a lot,
this will simplify my life a bit.

BTW, why is there a local copy of lib3ds? Why not to use the one on the
system, we do not keep a local copies of e.g. libjpeg or libpng neither.
Moreover, the local copy is quite old.
