-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello,
There was a discussion about using Bittorrent for the distribution of large datasets some time ago (e.g. 3DVRII stuff). The problem was always a rather complicated setup required. Now this could be solution: http://actlab.tv/snakebite_guide.html Snakebite is a Bittorrent server which doesn't need anything special to share a file - just drop it into the directory and the server will generate the torrent file, create tracker and start seeding it automatically. It shouldn't be any more difficult to set up than a normal web server. There is a package for Debian already.
