The new plugin just uses the osgDB to load the external reference. As long as its directory is in your OSG_FILE_PATH, the plugin should find it.
I don't remember how the old plugin worked. Do you find that the old plugin finds your external references, but the new one doesn't? (export OSG_OPEN_FLIGHT_PLUGIN as 'new' or 'old'.) -Paul > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of > Zach Deedler > Sent: Friday, September 01, 2006 6:53 AM > To: 'osg users' > Subject: [osg-users] New OpenFlight plugin > > Hello, > > The new OpenFlight plugin doesn't load anything with external > references in other directories correctly.
