CMLabs (www.cm-labs.com) is seeking a C++ graphics engineer with the
ability to use and extend OpenSceneGraph to create highly realistic
real-time simulations. The position is available in Montreal, Canada.
CMLabs provides middleware and tools that support the visual simulation
industry, particularly companies that develop interactive training for
vehicle operators, or machinery visualization applications. Our tools
include both physical simulation and visualization, and over the last
five years we have built up a business with hundreds of clients that use
our products and consulting services.
Responsibilities: Writing code to display realistic, real-time visual
3D objects with lighting, shadow and particle effects, to work with the
OpenSceneGraph community in extending the scenegraph, and to assist our
clients with their visualization needs.
Qualifications:
· Excellent C++ programming skills
· Familiar with 3D graphics development and scenegraphs, preferably
OpenSceneGraph.
· Understand graphics hardware issues for multiple screen simulations.
· Understand graphics algorithms including shaders, shadows,
lighting, particles, and special effects.
· rendering performance optimization.
· Experience in implementing distributed rendering software
architecture, communication and synchronization issues will be highly
appreciated.
