Sorry i mistyped my path, but its correct in my system (hasnt changed in many versions just moved new files into it.  i think there is something broken in openflight plugin for mac or its looking for a newer version of openflight format than the files i have.

So your original email said you used the follow path:
/Library/Applications Support/OpenSceneGraph/Plugins/

But I'm saying the path should be:
/Library/Application Support/OpenSceneGraph/PlugIns/

Notice there are subtle differences (plural, capitalization)

Assuming you are using the latter form, then you should first verify
if any other plugins are working. Run some of the demo apps like
osgtext to see if the freetype plugin works.

If those are all working for you, I would guess there is a problem
with the OpenFlight plugin. But I really don't know anything about
that plugin.
