Hi Joseph,

I haven't got a formal list of topics yet.  I'll be developing this of the coming weeks, from my own thoughts, and feedback from the community.

I have others who won't be able to make but might be able to get involved via video conferencing for particular discussions and to do presentations.

All this is much much easier in person though, so if you can send someone then this would be ideal.
Sorry to inform you though, fishing season is will be over mid October, just before the current dates.

Next year I'll make sure the trout and salmon are still hungry and willing to make a tasty fresh meal for us.  Have to have a catch your support session :)

Robert.

Robert,
I'll take a first stab at speaking for the folks here at NPS - others may chime in with additional thoughts:
We would love to participate but will unlikely have time/funds to make the trip. (Wait, did you say it was still fishing season???)
Specific topics especially interesting to us:
The OSG model of community building is definitely something we would like to learn more about. Any lessons learned, expertise or insight would be appreciated.
How to best remove barriers to adoption of open source to include flattening the learning curve (introductory material).
What is the best business model for sustaining open source projects?
Where does a scene graph end and a game engine begin? How do we establish a definition, keep it current and architect around it appropriately?
The 8(?) hour time difference would make it pretty difficult, but maybe we could phone in for some portion?
Did you want proposed topics or just available times posted to wiki?
Joe

Hi All,

I've mentioned my wish to hold an event in my new home town of Callander this autum, with the event focused on shaping the future of the OpenSceneGraph. I've posted a few details on wiki:

http://openscenegraph.org/osgwiki/pmwiki.php/Community/Events

I'd like to know what dates users might be able to make. I'm no web guru like Don, so I'm afriad the best I can do is tell you to edit the wiki or email me or the list.

Also if you wish to stay local to Europe for training then I'll be able to provide training the week before or after the event.

So feedback on dates, and type of content you'd like to see please :-)
Robert.
