Hi Biv,
osgIntersect is still alive! It's not integrated into the core though.
My team is currently using it in a production environment and I've made some changes to improve stability, performance, and allow picking on osg::shapes. All of this works, it's just that in trying to get our release out the door, I haven't had the chance package and submit the changes to the repository.
This is probably exactly what you need to interactively manipulate points. Try using the version currently on the site, and see if it fits your needs. If you need any help, especially in the area of performance (not an issue if you have under 100k points), let me know.
Cheers,
James

Hi all,
Whatever happened to this lib? Is it still being maintained? Is it integrated into the core? We're working on an application where we'd like to manipulate points interactively so if this functionality is out there, we'd like to use it rather than trying to create our own.
