Hi Robert et al, thanks for the comments/help regarding the stereo issue. I think Jan was closest to the scenario that we were looking at in that our client is/was leaving the stereo image generation to the NVIDIA based graphics card. I have to assume a certain degree of knowledge on behalf of the client as they write software for this type of thing - apparently they produce an SDK to talk to 3D VR Head Gear, so evidently they have some experience. However, I suspect that Jan is correct and that its down to the graphics card not behaving correctly, as all I've really done is in effect stuck an ActiveX wrapper around the most basic example supplied in the OSG download.
The ActiveX control works fine, and I dare say that if I were to toggle the anaglyph(?) mode then I'd get the classic "3D glasses" effect on screen. My difficulty is that this isn't what the client is looking for. They want what their graphics card gives them with the cessna osgviewer example. As I said, I suspect the graphics card, and will look to see if one of the ones listed by Jan will sort the problem out. I may also need to give some thought to making my application and control full screen, as they may not be interested in see a 3D menu bar :-) Anyway, I'll let you know the outcome of the investigations. However, don't hold your breath, as we never do things very quickly ;-( Cheers Neil. _______________________________________________ osg-users mailing list [email protected] http://openscenegraph.net/mailman/listinfo/osg-users http://www.openscenegraph.org/
