Hi Jean,

Thanks for checking, I really appreciate it!

I did some more testing and I've discovered two different behaviours
with the latest nVidia drivers, neither of which existed in older
drivers.

The behaviour I described in my previous post occured on 3 different
machines with the following graphics cards:

6800 - 128 MB
6800 - 256 MB
6800 GT - 256 MB

I also experience the opposite behaviour on 2 other machines. That is,
it will run fine by itself, but when another osg application is
running, it will run slowly. I realize that having 2 osg applications
running simultaneously will cause a slowdown, but this is a very
significant slowdown which never occured in older drivers. The 2
machines that exhibited this problem had the following cards:

6800 - 256 MB
7800 GTX - 256 MB

All the machines were running Windows XP with SP2. I'm still trying to
figure out what's causing the different behaviours. I'll post again if
I discover anything new.

I am running the 91.47 drivers (latest official nVidia drivers) on a GeForce
7900GTX, Windows XP SP2 w/latest updates, and osgprerendercubemap runs fine
(maxes out at refresh rate, timings indicate it could run at around 110fps).

Dunno if this helps, but your report intrigued me so I wanted to check and
report back my numbers. Good luck,

J-S
