Hi, Robert:

These days I have been learning osgGA, osgProducer and Producer, I feel your design about event process mechnism is very good. May I make a suggestion about osgGA::TrackballManipulator ? I feels TrackballManipulator  is not convinent for interactive visualization software. I find  Producer::Trackball has some good function such as OperationalMode(eg. PerformerLike mode) , RotationalMode, ThrowMode. Integrating these operation  modes into TrackballManipulator is good idea, I think. Do you think so?  OSG is good , for a long time, it is mainly used in simulation field  which is featured by real-time display. But I think OSG can also be used in developing interactive visualization software ,for example, for oil and gas industry. In fact I am developer about visualization software for oil and gas industry. But, our development is based on OpenGL directly on linux. For a interactive visualization, modifying, editing functions are very important. But there seems no examples or demos about them in OpenSceneGraph/examples. Can you put more examples about editing scene objects in openscenegraph package ?

BTW: Robert, I'm sorry, This is the second time I use mailing list. I'm not familiar with how to use mailing list and how to reply respondence to someone including his reply as my email contents automatically. I use gmail, and I work on linux.
Ha, "you don't often use mailing list ?", you may ask surprisely. I'm an alien of another star. :-)

cheers.
Hope my english not trouble you. :-)
