Tells you quickly whether you are vertex, fragment, rop, texture fetch, etc. bound are and how much of the frame your GPU as a whole is busy (GPU vs. CPU bound). Would be a handy addition to the OSG stats -- conditionally compiled in of course. In particular, these timers: gpu_idle, vertex_shader_busy, pixel_shader_busy, shader_waits_for_texture, shader_waits_for_rop, rop_busy All of these stats are available on GeForce 6+, and all but one (shader_waits_for_rop IIRC) are available on GeForceFX.
