This is great to hear.

Looking at how things are converging on the osgPython and osgLua
projects it looks like we should be able to integrate them in the
OpenSceneGraph-1.3.  This will make the release a massive functional
upgrade over 1.2, and open the doors to lots of non C++ hacks.
