Hi Ed,

Make will change directories into the target object directory (in this case Linux64.Opt).  Therefore, the relative directory ../../../include is now one more level above.

I would suggest taking the relative path out of the #include statement in the file and use

CXXFLAGS += -I$(THISDIR)/../../../include

in the GNMakefile.  DWMake will keep track of $(THISDIR).

I am trying to modify osgshaders to use DWMAKE... I must have made
another mistake, as my makefile doesn't seem to work:

This is the GNUmakefile

include $(DWMAKE)/makedefs

CXXFILES =\
    GL2Scene.cpp \
    Noise.cpp \
    osgshaders.cpp

LIBS = -losgProducer -lProducer -losgText -losgGA -losgDB -losgUtil
-losg $(GL_LIBS) $(X_LIBS) $(OTHER_LIBS)

EXEC = osgshaders

include $(DWMAKE)/makerules

This is the output of make

$ make

make[1]: Entering directory `/home/osgshaders/Linux64.Opt'
make[1]: *** No rule to make target
`../../../include/osg/ShapeDrawable', needed by `GL2Scene.o'.  Stop.
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/osgshaders/Linux64.Opt'
make: *** [osgshaders.opt] Error 2

What did I do wrong?   I'll go ahead and say "Doh!" in advance.

thanks,
Ed
