Hi folks,

I'll pose this question to the group first to see if someone knows
off-the-top-of-their head.

With any of the compression arguments in osgdem:

--RGBA-compressed
--compressed

Can they be used to just compress a single texture layer in a database
that uses multiple layers without compressing the other layers?

For example:

osgdem -d Elevation --layer 0 --compressed -t OTW --layer 1 -t NVG
--layer 2 -t Irradiance --layer 3 -t HorizonMaps -o TestModel.ive

I'm trying to reduce the memory footprint of a fairly complex database
we are building by using compression but some of the layers encode data
that won't survive compression. My thought is to compress just the
albedo imagery (anything helps).

Thanks,
Brad
