Hi Eric et al. I have just put up a page on the under the Community/Tasks section of the wiki to help coordinate this effort:

I would very much like to be involved in submitting a course for Siggraph. I volunteer to write a proposal, as long as others volunteer to present various topics. I don't want to be the only presenter.
Most excellent, a willing sacrifice :-) I'll tie myself to the mast as well.
Here are some topics that might be discussed: - integration with GUI toolkits - terrain visualization (I can probably present this topic) - image animation (I can present this topic) - visitors - integration with Producer (hopefully this will settle down by next summer) (I am willing to present this topic) - picking and intersection - using plugins
I've just copied and pasted these onto the wiki page to get things going.
Any other ideas?
Scalability i.e. multiple CPU/GPU. Performance optimization.
As Robert said, the deadline is coming up very soon, December 7.
I am snowed up with work right now, if others can pick up the ball and coordinate this then it'd be very helpful. Cheers, Robert. _______________________________________________ osg-users mailing list [email protected] http://openscenegraph.net/mailman/listinfo/osg-users http://www.openscenegraph.org/
