I would like this to get more exposure in the community before you merge it.

I will send it to submissions in a while.

If you take a quick peek you will see I have had to jump through some awful
hoops to make it work with the current collada stuff.

The changes are all to do with the windows platforms and case insensitive
path names.

I am really beginning to wish I had never opened this particular Pandoras
box.
