I have started updating the code for the new OpenVRML 0.16.2 and there were
quite a few changes from my good old 0.14.3 which I have used with it before. So
it is more like a major rewrite - it needs to be updated to OSG 1.2 as well.

However, I have a dilemma here - OpenVRML 0.16.2 uses and depends on Boost now.
I cannot avoid its usage because it is in the API. Are we interested in another
(major) dependency? Or should I stay with the old 0.14.3 code which doesn't need
Boost?

Personally, I do not mind Boost because it comes nicely packaged on my Linux
machine but I can feel the Windows users cringe - compiling that beast on
Windows is a major pain.

What is your opinion on this?

Jan
