Hi Simon, So you're finally making the jump to OSG! What I've done to integrate OSG_OP_OT-1.0 into Qt and wxWidgets is just assign the native window id from the gui toolkit to the Producer::RenderSurface. I don't know if this is the best or blessed way of doing things, and it may have changed in newer versions of Producer, but it works and maybe FLTK also provides a cross-platform interface for the underlying window id.

Hi Robert, Not sure anyone replied yet but w.r.t FLTK, there is a static method of the main Fl class, Fl::display(const char *) which takes an argument in the same format as the DISPLAY env. variable. I guess you'd need to set this, open 1st window (use show() method), set it again, open 2nd window. Not tried myself. Good luck. I'm actually going to face the same issue myself as I want to port a stereo FLTK/Performer app to OSG soon. So, any more hints on the best way to integrate OSG and FLTK are appreciated... I have two graphics cards and two monitors on this machine, and X11 lists then as 0:1 and 0:1 respectively (displayNum:screenNum), and via Producer/X11 I'm able to open graphics contexts on each display without problem, so thumbs up here. Next up I thought I'd test this capability out with QT but alas can't spot how to do it from the html docs or browsing on the web so I thought I'd ping the list before I waste more time. I also looked at FLTK but again can't spot an obvious way to open up a window on a specific screen. I know these things should be possible... but as yet have come up a little empty handed. Please help ;-) Robert. _______________________________________________ osg-users mailing list [email protected] http://openscenegraph.net/mailman/listinfo/osg-users http://www.openscenegraph.org/ _______________________________________________ osg-users mailing list [email protected] http://openscenegraph.net/mailman/listinfo/osg-users http://www.openscenegraph.org/
