Not sure about your first question but we have written a NURBS wrapper lib
(VE_NURBS) that allows you to create bsplines and surfs for OSG. It's pretty
basic but if you're interested I can send it to you.

Hi,

What is a good strategy for drawing the trailing orbit of a spacecraft?

That is: as the SV moves, it leaves a trail. Thus the trail is growing
(always changing) and it is not possible to create the entire 'orbit
geometry' all at once (a-priori).

A related question is: what kind of geometry/drawable object to use to
display an orbit? I couldn't find a Spline or Bezier_Curve class in the
list of classes.

Thanks very much.
