I'm not a lawyer. But no. LGPL should be fine for closed source software, provided you abide by the dynamic linking clauses. You're probably confusing the LGPL with the GPL, the latter being unfriendly with closed software. Just don't statically link OpenThreads with your proprietary stuff and you should be okay.
