I haven't officially announced this yet (primarily because I haven't had
time to update my Web page), but I am currently creating a new NodeKit,
osgOQ, which supports OpenGL 1.5 hardware-based occlusion culling. This
feature will coexist in OSG along with the software occluder technology
Robert refers to below. I hope to have this is a releasable form real soon
now. Look for announcements on this list over the next few weeks.

That's cool !!!!Looking forward for the release version!!!!! And can you
specify this in a little more detail?I 'm a bit curious : )
Is it based on the hardware occlusion qury which is been used with opengl
extension? Is there any material describing this algorithm?
Thanks in advance!!!
