Hi Adrian,

We have implemented a Firefox plugin, now is running under windows.
you can view it running at

http://www.vhlab.itabc.cnr.it/Projects.htm
or, in italian

http://www.distrettoarcheologicosalerno.it/salerno/cms/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=32&Itemid=37

If you click on viewpoints, you should see javascript interaction.

The code is far than polished, but is working under Windows and, in
principle, should also work under Linux as well.
We have not yet decided which kind of Open source license to use, either
GPL or LGPL, so for now
consider it under the most rescrive GPL.

Which kind of plugin are you willing to develop?

If you are interested, let we know, we are starting a rework phase with
the goals of

1) clean the code and enhance decoupling of OSG related code versus
Firefox / Explorer code
2) clean the build process and test also under Linux ( any help towards
an Apple port would be essential, since this platform is completely
unknown to us).
3) port from osgProducer to osgViewer (hoping this would solve some
limitations we have found in multiwindow handling)
4) more features..... the list is unfortunately too long.......
5) hint or suggestion are welcome

Regards
               Luigi Calori
               Carlo Camporesi

P.S.
If you dare to mess with dark side of programming........ use the
source...
