Amazing!! so forgive my proposal and turn it into a request for a new
CMake building step as Luigi said.
Using CMake would certainly be the line of least resistance.
Automatically running genwrapper is not something one would want on by
default though, as it itself is not a quick operation.
Would it be possible to CMake to offer the option to rebuild the
wrappers, or perhaps just warn the users that the wrappers could
potentially be invalidated by a modification to a header.
Either way I'd still put this as a lower priority, as the old build
system didn't have anything like this and we survived albeit with the
wrappers breaking occasionally.
