Thanks to Luigi and Eric Wing for making this clear. Probably this is worth getting noted on the OSG pages - certainly there are lots of people of in the wild who are used to build software packages in a batch into private locations. Now that everything works fine on FreeBSD I'm encountering certain difficulties on Linux Debian/Etch that ships: jive: 18:43:05 ~> cmake --version cmake version 2.4-patch 5 CMake Error: This project requires version 2.4.6 of CMake. You are running version 2.4.5. Any idea how this could be solved ? It certainly is not a brilliant idea to require every Debian/Etch user to install a separate CMake package, is it ?
