If you're using Linux of FreeBSD, the following will work:
# __GL_FSAA_MODE=${MODE} osgviewer foobar.osg
...where MODE is a number 0-8 which, generally, means increase quality
w/ value (though, I think "3" is disable, same as 0). On Windows, er...
